Aalam-al-Tofeer is a small market in Faysalia disttrict Jeddah located beside Al-Roudah street and bicycle square. They sell huge list of items, home accessories, stationary items, perfumes, dresses, kitchen accessories. Everything in 5 SR or below it. May be quality of their products is little low however still a huge Saudi community buy from there. You will hardly find a spot for parking.

Saree is a dress widely used in India, Bangladesh and slightly less in Pakistan. This is a dress that has a wide range of wearing, starting from casual dressing to party dressing. In Jeddah there are many places where you can buy a good saree like Aziziyah and AlSharfia cloth markets. There is huge collection of Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani style sarees available in those markets. I think price range for normal saree is available from 150 SR to 350 SR and party dress (a saree with heavy embroidery work etc) are expensive, something around 750 SR to 2000 SR. You can have a better idea by visiting the market yourself.

Ice Sticks in Jeddah

I just noticed these great tasty Ice Sticks shops in Jeddah called "Freshi Ice Sticks". I tried few of the sticks and really like them very much. Currently I have seen these shops in N2 Mall, Jeddah Mall and Red Sea Mall. However the sales guy told me they have more than 7 shops. I was also impressed by their well decorated freezers and colorful Ice Sticks. If you visit any of these shops please share your experience with it here.
